JEAN CAROL JACKSON

     It is with deep regrets, that the Danbury Chapter announces the passing of it's founder and charter member, Jean Jackson.
     Jean formed the Danbury Chapter in 1981, after seeing a need to have a chapter in the area. She served in all positions in the chapter, including President at least twice.
     Jean was also a past member and President of the Fairfield County chapter.
      Jean served as Secretary/Treasurer of the old Region 1 for 25 years. She made all the hotel reservations for the chapter presidents, arranged the food and hospitality, organized the meetings, submitted the expense reports, organized the Friday night hospitality with raffles and family oriented activities and always organized and purchased gifts for the children at the annual Christmas Party. Jean always made sure that the Region 1 meetings were always a family oriented event.
